The Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing 2-month-old child who was last seen in Elma on Nov. 21.
Child Protective Services petitioned for a writ of habeas corpus, or an order to have police search for and recover the child after the agency could not find the baby boy at his home in Elma on Nov. 25, said Sheriff’s Office Detective Sgt. Brad Johansson. Child Protective Service workers went to the home because they were worried about the child’s welfare.
The child’s parents, Christine D. Curry and Chase S. Poledna, both face felony warrants for theft in the first degree. The child was last seen with his mother on Nov. 21 in Elma. The Sheriff’s Office is looking for both the parents and the child.
Curry is a white female, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. She has blue eyes and blonde hair and has been seen driving a 2002 Hyundai Elantra. Chase S. Poledna is a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds and has blue eyes and black hair. He has been seen driving a white, 1998 Ford Windstar.
Anyone with information regarding the location of these subjects is asked to contact Detective Sgt. Johansson at (360) 249-3711.
