Beginning Friday, Feb. 13, Grays Harbor County residents will have an urgent care clinic available during the weekend at Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma.
The clinic offers ailing residents an opportunity to be seen for illness or injury not requiring an emergency room visit, but also severe enough to need attention before normal business hours for their primary care physician’s office.
The clinic will be open noon-8 p.m., Friday through Sunday, every weekend. Patients needing ugrent care do not need appointments and can check in through the main patient entrance at 600 E. Main St. in Elma.
Since the closure of the Harbor’s last urgent care facility in Aberdeen, the nearest urgent care clinic has been in Olympia.
