A Tacoma woman was taken to St. Peter’s Hospital in Olympia after she lost control of her vehicle early Thursday morning on Highway 8 near mile post 10, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Avery M. Hinson, 19, was traveling westbound around 2:46 a.m. when her 2003 Chevrolet Impala left the roadway, rolled and came to rest in the median facing eastbound, according to the State Patrol. Hinson was taken to St. Peter’s Hospital after the accident.
Hinson’s vehicle was impounded and the cause of the accident is still under investigation, according to the State Patrol.
