Grays Harbor Radio News Director Kyle Pauley was appointed to a seat on the Cosmopolis City Council on Wednesday.
Pauley was selected from among six candidates to fill newly-appointed Mayor Frank Chestnut’s seat. Chestnut was elected by the council to fulfill the remaining term of Vickie Raines, who is now a county commissioner.
The 4-year term of Pauley’s seat expires on Dec. 31. The seat will be up for election in November. Candidates, including Pauley, can file May 11-15.
