Pacifc Care and Rehabilitation Center of Hoquiam will remain closed for repairs until this spring.
The facility, which had housed elderly and disabled patients, incurred serious damage from the flood on Jan. 5 requiring residents to be transfered to neighboring facilities. The facility now must undergo repairs before residents can be moved back in. Contractors and consultants have been contacted.
A time line for repairs and reopening is not yet known, however, the center says it will open again this spring.
Pacific Care’s outpation rehabilitation gym, a separate building, was not damaged by the flood and is open for phycial, occupational and speech therapy.
