GH Bowmen host Zombie Shoot this weekend


Grays Harbor Bowmen will host its second Zombie Shoot Safari Archery Tournament on 22-23 March 2014 at the organization’s range located seven miles southwest of Aberdeen, on Highway 105.


Archers will shoot 35 targets each day. The unique targets are designed and created by club members Scott and Tammy Melton of NW HydroPrint.

Register on Friday 6 to 8 p.m. or Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Sunday 7-8 a.m. for one-day shooters). Saturday, archers may start shooting any time after registration. Sunday, all archers will start shooting at 9 a.m. on their assigned target.


Adult registration is $15 for one day and $20 for both days. Junior rates and Family discounts are available. Two-day shooters will be eligible for trophies based on total score.


Camping is available at the range (no hookups). There are also campgrounds in Westport and hotels in Aberdeen or on the South Beach.
