Firefighters are searching for two people missing in a house fire that sparked early this morning, Aberdeen Fire Department Chief Tom Hubbard said.
At least 15 firefighters and two trucks are still working on the burning home in the 700 block of 8th Avenue in Aberdeen. Parts of the roof have collapsed.
Hubbard said at the scene the call came in at about 5:10 a.m., and neighbors were already on scene when firefighters arrived, helping to rescue an elderly couple from the home.
Hubbard would not confirm the age or gender of the two missing people.
