Family of 7 enjoys new Habitat home

A family of seven are enjoying the sixteenth project home constructed by Habitat for Humanity of Grays Harbor.

Mike and Becky Gosser and their five children received the keys to their new home at a dedication ceremony Feb. 22. The family put 400 hours of sweat equity into their new home alongside Habitat volunteers.

“We are humbled and so thankful to the many people who gave up their time and talents to help us realize this dream,” Becky Gosser said at the ceremony. “Thank you to Habitat for Humanity and all those who worked alongside us and blessed our family.”

Habitat homes are sold to families at an affordable price with a no-interest loan through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials. The non-profit will begin work on homes in Ocean Shores and Montesano over the next several months.
