Pacific County Sheriff’s Office deputies are working to contain an active shooter in a trailer park in Long Beach, Chief Criminal Deputy Pat Matlock said.
The man allegedly shot one man in the leg, and has barricaded himself inside his trailer. Deputies have not made entry, but Matlock said the trailer is now on fire.
“We believe he probably set the trailer on fire,” Matlock said. The exact cause is unknown.
The man has made threats to law enforcement.
The Thurston County SWAT team is en route. This story will be updated.
