Families looking for some summer fun made their way out to Shaffner Farms near Montesano to pick blueberries at their U-pick field on Tuesday. The blueberries, which cost $2.25 a pound, are the last berries available this summer but the farm currently offers .50 cent U-pick dahlias for flower lovers as well. Also available at the Shaffner Farms storefront are freshly-picked heirloom tomatoes, lettuce, kale and summer squash.
