Harbor Association of Volunteers for Animals hosts cat adoption special

The Harbor Association of Volunteers for Animals is offering a cat adoption special this month in an effort to find adult cats permanent, loving homes.

Normally, cats aged 10 months and older can be adopted for a fee of $80, which covers medical costs. But this June, the cats can be adopted for a reduced fee of $25. People who adopt kittens from the shelter can also adopt the mother for $10. All cats availible for adoption have been tested for feline leukemia, spayed or neutered, treated for fleas and worms and have been vaccinated against FVRCP and rabies.

The shelter is located at 311 Second St. in Raymond, and is open each Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. and the first and third Saturday of each month. For more information or to make an appointment to visit the shelter outside of business hours, call 360-942-4716.
